I'd be interested in that! I keep getting asked for a more intelligent
'power drive' - DivisionMaster is good for Rotary Tables, and can run as
a slave from the computer, but something similar for linear axises would
be nice.

The sort of "add-on's" you describe are quite feasible in Mach3 - in
fact there is a growing library of them! But there is no 'drawing
package' in it, just an early version of an import converter called LasyCAM

But I think shipping to the US would be a bit pricey :(
