Remember the one about the Americans trying to design a ballpoint pen
to work in zero gravity and the Russians said why not use a pencil.
We tend to get a little too hi-tec sometimes.
Why not clamp a couple of guide blocks to the table each side of the
plastic stock, put the hotwire in the spindle chuck and just push the
stock through by hand. Cut the I.D.first then mount on a pipe between
centers on a mounting board and cut the O.D. I will leave the nitty
gritty details to you.
