GASP! Do you know what you are talking about, here? Many servo amps
are
not isolated AT ALL. They connect (usually) the minus side of the main
DC servo
supply to the system ground! If he just hooks 120 VAC to a rectifier
and feeds it
into that type of amplifier, his computer, all servo amps, and probably
everything else
electronic connected to it will be fried!
