John,
Good evening. It just so happens Darrell and I had an extended phone
conversation this evening on this very subject where he made a very
persuasive case for a 160-180VDC drive. So much so that I will be
seriously investigating the feasabilty of building such a drive. I've
asked Darrell to give me input for what is required regarding
existing power supplies and motors. Any other comments and
suggestions from others as well would be welcome as well.
