[Not necessarily. According to Bathsheba Grossman, who really tried hard to
make this work, the wax/starch output of the Z-corp "3d printer" tends to
form an unburnable ash that accumulates in blind pockets, leaving voids in
the castings. Granted, her configurations were complex, but that's why you
use these things in the first place. She finally bought herself a Sanders
machine, which deposits a waxy polymer that burns out much better. Check
her work out at http://www.protoshape.com She's also offering custom
output from her Sanders machine.]
Of course an unlimited budget helps.
