A couple of years ago ,or was it more? Silicon chip magazine in Australia run an
article on that machine , and another one similar but one used
paper with glue in the back ,one arm pushed the paper in place ,then
a roller will flatten the paper so it will stick to the paper below, then a laser beam
cut only to the last sheet of paper , by doing this thing many times a prototype of
almost anything could be made in carton and then a silicone mold can be made
and finally the part will be cast on lost wax method. the company were I work
ordered some bell housing prototypes to be done that way. Expensive but perfect and
quick
