Yes! m-sys makes the disk-on-chip, interfaces like a EPROM. I have one
on a prototype board (at work) that's in the queue. Several new parts
on that board (job security)! Will need a new BIOS (board is a relative
to the hand held board I mentioned).

I agree, work with what 'ya got! The 80 Mb PCMCIA card (ATA) works for
me! I am currently using a 33 mhz '386 as a target machine. Small disk
drive, etc.

Work continues. Accurate timing is quite important; made easier by
having "complete control" of the box. Ideas?
