CAD CAM EDM DRO - Yahoo Group Archive

GeckoDrives.. Can anyone Help?

My next project is to convert a Drill/Mill to 3 axis CNC. a project
that many of you have already completed. I am considering getting
three GeckoDrives to power this CNC. I am a little confused after
going to their site. There are four to choose from, (G201, G210,
G320, G340) The G201 is the most expensive so I assume it is the
best. But do I need the best?

I don't plan to make this a closed loop servo system. Does anyone
know what the difference is between the four GeckDrives and which
would be the best to get?
