If you can't get Bobcad for under $1000, keep shopping. Until last September
we had been Bobcad dealers since 1992. We produced and still sell the Bobcad
for Windows video training tapes. Most of the missing documentation in the
Bobcad 16 & 17, manuals and help files is included in our Videos.

IMService has an exceptional Vector deal that has gone nearly unnoticed. We are
offering our crossgrade pricing for almost any CAM crossgrade (including even ACE
converter from Yeager). Because I am tied up with some training commitments, we
are going to extend the dates till the end of the month.

On our Vector web site we list 25 reasons to purchase Vector over Bobcad. These
reasons do NOT include any of the new features in Version 9.0 and very few of those
added in our last major upgrade, 8.0. Vector does all that Bobcad does, does it with
a little more finesse and automation , and also has many advanced features that are
only found in systems costing 5 times as much as the normal retail price. IMService
is committed to providing high quality software to the hobbyist market. Heck I am one!
We will have a CNC info display at Names again this year and are considering having
a training/open house type of event the Thursday before.

Our training programs are specifically set up to provide a rapid ramp up for commercial
customers that want to learn how to operate their new CNC router and to program it
with Vector in a couple of days, go home and start making signs, furniture, cabinets,
etc. It is in cooperation with Shopbot tools, Inc, which sells a lowcost CNC router.
They include a copy of Vector with every machine. Most of the people that attend
these classes have never seen a CNC machine before, and few of them have
a toolmaking or even an engineering background.
