RE: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Re: GeckoDrives.. Can anyone Help?

He is saying the reason G201's cost more is that he is holding the SRP that
distributors sell at. The other drives are currently factory direct and are
sold at production cost + profit, not production cost + profit + distributor
add-on like the G201.

From what Mariss has told the list previously I think the new products will
be higher voltage versions of the steppers for big iron type machines
(Bridgeports, etc.) and a traditional servo drive. Sounds like with what you
are doing you will find the current items to be the best fit and if you buy
now you will get grandfathered in for low cost on future purchases.
