You ask a good question. The real reason is that I haven't learned to
program in C++ and that is what the EMC is written in.
The EMC sites are very intimidating to me.

I suppose I should quit fiddling around and get an EMC machine running and
dive in and learn how to use all of its power. I understand most of what I
would want to customize is in the program that actually interfaces to the
EMC program itself, so I might not need to learn C++.

So, I will take the hint, and back off. I don't mind your wake up call,
Jon. How are you coming on your combined 4 axis board? I am still
interested.

PS. I was watching the other thread with interest, however. I like to see
