What does the SIIG p-port card cost?

The serial port may be going the direction of the p-port since, yes,
USB is a "fancy" serial port(s).

Regarding the PCI bus, I can only say I "thought" the p-port would be
with us for some time to come... I find it truly amazing the way the
PC mfrs'(including s/w mfrs!) have continued to find ways
to "improve" the system in ways which require the replacement
of "old" systems. Thankfully the "peripheral" vendors have ALSO found
ways to let us continue using these "old" systems :-)
