Right! You might want to do a little special stuff in some of the
I/O (which is plain C) and in the GUI scripts, which are very easy to
understand and modify.

See the other post, the big thing is some changes to EMC to get all I/O
going through one port. The hardware (board layout) shouldn't be a big
thing.
