Smoke is on to something !
If "little Tom" by chance only needs to draw in 2d, QuickCad is incredible for
the money. I use AutoSketch 7, QuickCad and AutoSketch are the same program. I
have seen them sell for under $100 with some lite versions showing up for around
$30.
Don't let the price fool ya... It's modern Cad techniques at a real good price,
especially if combined with Sensiva for on screen Left mouse "slide" commands.
I purchased VectorCad/Cam as well. For now, I am pretty sure that I will
continue to draw everything I need (2d) in Sketch and Import it into Vector for
toolpath creation.
