From memory as I'm on the full blown V9 now but Origin can make a
model and then translate the 2D drawings from it, all with full save
and print featres. Where it is cut down is that you can only draw one
model at a time and you can't assemble them. When you draw or
generate in 2D every thing is OK unless you generate at 3D vies or
scaled section view. If you do this then save is disabled, - no 3D , -
no problem.
It's still got to be the bargin of the year, At least $1,000 worth of
software for free.
