Chris, yes, I believe I have to make an image file that
initrd can access, so it can install it as a ram disk, just
like the standard linux version. I have read over those man
pages, and the info has not really sunk in yet. Also there
is a reference to my problem in the RTLinux manual on
the web site. Just Have to figure how to go about it. Thanks

Just realized you will also need to create an initrd image for the rt
kernel. You might look in /usr/doc/HOWTO and see if there is something
on scsi disks. Also try 'man initrd' and 'man lilo' and see if there is
any documentation on lilo in that howto directory.
Scripts are great... but if they weren't intended to work with your
configuration, then you have to learn to manipulate the files
yourself.
