Chris, I am currently installing the RT patch, using
Tim's install script. It seems to be setup for IDE
type hard disks. Most of the problems in setup is
related to the differant types of hardware that Linux
will support. The sorting out of these problems is
what takes the time and knowledge. Some one
should come up with a Ideal hardware config to be
used with RH Linux, RTLinux, and EMC.

to the drive in the file? Might be worth reading about lilo
in /usr/doc/HOWTO or /usrdoc/HOWTO/mini.
Personally I've had the most trouble when the disk partition I was
installing lilo from was not the same as the one I was intalling it
onto and the same as the one I intended to boot as the root file
system. And I've never even touched scsi.
But you should be able to take the lilo configuration file created
when you install redhat and just modify it by making a seperate image
block for the new kernel. Sound like maybe you started with one that
came with the rtlinux or emc setup - which doesn't know about your
scsi disk.
