You can get a transformer from a 6 to 10 amp battery charger for about
40 bucks, (wal mart Sears etc). Most 12 volt charge only (not 6/12
volt kind) will have a transformer that is center tapped. Anyway, by
using the end taps on the secondary will give you about 36 volts. You
can get a regulator (2.99) at Radio Shack. If you have an electrionics
repair/store in your town, this would be the place to look for the
caps. I didn't find any 10000 mfd at Radio Shack.
