Hi Matt
Here is what I did for my power supply is made a simple board to hold all
the components. Go to our group photos here is the url
http://photos.groups.yahoo.com/group/cad_cam_edm_dro/vwp?.dir=/Electronic+pa
rts+HTS&.src=gr&.dnm=Power+filter+side.jpg&.view=t&.done=http%3a//photos.gro
ups.yahoo.com/group/cad_cam_edm_dro/lst%3f%26.dir=/Electronic%2bparts%2bHTS%
26.src=gr%26.view=t
This a 48vdc input after rectification has 50vdc, 20000uf, zener protection,
Bleed resistor with light, 3 fuses one for each drive.
I am selling these at a reasonable price or if you need any of the
components let me know offline.
If anyone knows of a place to get higher voltage caps at a reasonable price
let me know.
Derek

I have started on my journey to CNC, thanks to the very helpful folks
in this group. I will be using gecko 210a along with motor rated at
3.2v 2.0amps. The gecko site recomends a unregulated power supply
with a minium 24 volts. I have heard it is pretty easy to make your
own power supply but for the life of me can not find instructions or
a list of parts on the internet. Any ideas? Also where would a good
place be to purchase the required parts, preferably online since I
live in the boonies.
Thanks again,
Matt
