if your concerned about the master boot sector getting messed up (as it
sounds like what has happended) you can have the BDI not write to the
master
boot cycle (it's in the install stuff somewhere) and just create a boot
floppy, then when you want to boot linux, reboot the machine with the
floppy
in the drive (assuming bios is setup to boot from floppy 1st)
that is what i have done here

Hi all,
Got a quick question... a couple weeks ago I tried to dual boot
Windoze 98 and Linux w/EMC installed - it failed miserably and I ended
up reformatting everything.
Anyone have a simple way to get a Linux partition and swap w/o
screwing up the Windoze partition? Partition Magic then...?
Let me know, KCAM is really cool, but I need something a little more
powerful (EMC)
