If you did the BDI it should be in the /usr/local/emc directory.
If you are used to dos note the slashes are foward not back
slashes. Also linux is case sensitive, /usr is NOT the same as
/USR. There are a few ini files in the emc directory, and they
are set up right now with the emc.ini file being used by the
emc.run file, generic.ini belongs to the generic.run file etc.
You can change that later if you wish, although it is not
really necessary. To start up emc you can click on one of
the emc icons on the desktop although it is better to start
it from the command line so you can see any error messages
that may pop up. Do this by starting a console window and
typing "cd /usr/local/emc" <enter> then type "./emc.run" <enter>
(dot slash emc dot run) to run EMC. (don't type the quotes).
