I do not know the purpose of the solinoid you plan to use but
as far as G-code goes there are some standards for codes that
are suitable for diffrent purposes.
In your example
M0 = Program Stop
M01 = Optional Program Stop
These codes control Program flow and are generaly not suited for
control of relays?
As far as the abilitys of the program goes you will have to check
the documentation for suitable aplications.
Typical codes for external controls are
M3 = Spindle on forward
M4 = Spindle on backwards
M5 = Spindle off
M7 = Mist cooland on
M8 = Flood coolant on
M9 = Coolant off
There may be other suitable codes for use with custom functions as
to be determined by the documentation of the program.
Also the Pins that are suitable for those purposes is often semi
standard within the progams parameters.
