ON my web page find these two files:
http://wwwgldpages.com\GWS.dwg
http://www.gldpages.com\GWS.CNC
I could not get the dfx file to download properly, so put up the dwg
file instead.
I have been using Kcam4 demo with some success. Have created
several dfx files and imported into Kcam and cut balsa parts so I
know my machine works ok. When I import GWS.dfx, the tool path does
not look like the dfx file.
So I downloaded Demo of Bobcam V17, cut & paste g-code into note pad
and loaded into Kcam. Same results, crazy tool path. Back to the
drawing board.
Downloaded Turbocnc. (You guy's were right. My machine does run
better in the dos program.) After getting Turbocnc set up and
running, downloaded Deskcnc demo. Loaded the dfx in and it appears
to run ok on screen, so cut and paste the g-code into note pad and
build the appropriate file for Turbocnc. This time I get a zig zag
rectangle.
BTW, I am using Intellicad 4, and saved the dfx as R14.
This is a small file. Eleven arc's & 4 straight lines. Overall
dimension's .625 X 1.3 INCHES.
If thse two programs will not convert this simple file into
functionsal g-code, What will??????????????
Would someone please tell me what the h is going on here?????

IS there a reason there is no menu to load files on the files page.
