I agree 110% !

I have found this hobby is either to get a machine running to make
parts or to make a machine.

Since most of us don't have a clue as to the fuel to air ration of
the car we drive, nor have built the car, I can assume we are drivers
and not auto designers.

As for our machines, some want to be cutting parts and others want to
build the machine, or at least know the innerds intimatly.

I see the Sound Logic board (aka Bob's Board, aka Campbell board, aka
Bob Campbell's board) as an answer to many, many problems, however
fleeting.

I would be interested in a poll that found out who has used the
manual pulse generator after the unit was installed. For setting up,
it is a great feature. I'm sure worth $50.00 to those who NEED it.
But, when you NEED a 3/8-24 screw on a Saturday night, you might pay
$20.00 for that.....

Then there are those who are great with machines and don't want to
get deeply involved with the electronical bits. The BB takes away
the problems there and offers a solution.

If you're spending $500.00 per axis (or more) on your Bridgeport, who
cares about another $50 per axis, give or take.

But if you are making a Kleinbauer plans machine for $125.... you get
the idea.
