Jon, I like the idea of the true closed-loop system. However, I'm not thrilled about the linux based software. Do you forsee your products working with software within a windows environment in the near future? What are the voltage and current limits of your servo amps?

Also, I posted about the Va rating of my present transformer earlier and would like for you to assess it by dims if possible. The coil measures 4.7 O.D and 4" tall and the core diameter looks to be 2.3" square. Any idea?

Well, it is a bit different, but all three of my interfaces (analog
servo, step-direction,
and PWM) all have a watchdog circuit that causes an estop if the
computer is not
in constant communication with the board. The E-stop turns off all
auxilliary devices
(spindle, coolant, motor drives) and also stops all motion commands
through their
specific interface. This is done from EMC, but could be done with other
software,
as my inteface specs are all published.
