If you run Linux or would like to there is a program called QCAD that I
consider nice. I think it works on Windows too. It is free.

That is the only program I have at the moment. If you are rich you
can look at the AutoDesk stuff. The reality it that 2/3D CAD is sort
of old technology, a lot of places are going to solid modeling.

As far as commenting the only thing I can suggest is to get the easy to
use software unless you intend to "do CAD" full time.
