AutoCAd is one of the major partners in a group called the Business
Software Alliance. Their function is to find companies that are using
illegal copis of software and either sue then or extort LARGE ammounts
of money for legal licenses.

They often run radio ads to help find violators. One of the lines in the
radio ad is that the most common way of finding illegal software use is
to be turned in by disgruntled employees. They clearly are fishing for
such information.

They will go after any size company- big or small.

You DO NOT own most software, you only have a license to use it.
