thanks for being concerned.
somewhat unimaginative to attribute what you may
consider idiosyncratic speech to drugs, but perhaps
that was an attempt at humour rather than ridicule?
but don't worry for me. my metaphysics corresponds 1:1
with reality on this and possibly many other things
that are not commonly known or that are not accessible
to a mind self constrained by indoctrination of
taboos.
Atlas Shrugged is gonna be made into a movie this year
too, i hear!
It is the age of the superempowered individual,
Mariss.
When someone mentions 'criminal to even think' i don't
have to listen hard for the sound of a whole
generation not giving a crap. Nobody cares what the
law says. It is only obeyed by those who believe in
it. There is an entire generation that does not. There
is a culture that exists which is a meritocracy and
for whom laws are simply not adequate. Fortunately,
they have PRINCIPLES. They do, in fact, recognise a
monopoly as evil by nature.
The best place you could put your effort is into
making sure ppl are educated about rights cuz you
can't stop em from having what they already have. They
can not be intimidated.
To do that, of course, one needs a clear idea of what
rights are and how if one has to ask for them he just
doesn't get it.
As soon as you equate copying with stealing, any 3
year old child of 2 will know you are full of it cuz
it can't be stolen if it isn't missing. There is a
distinction between ideas and tangible matter: the
property of exclusivity. Ideas do not have this once
you share it once. They do not have it by their
nature.
You wanna try to deny nature? Momma will kick your
butt!
Perhaps parents have noticed there is no open
generational conflict? Your kids just say, 'OK,
whatever' and go to their room. They don't need to
fight- they've already won! The parents who think AOL
and a yahoo forum and ebay is the beginning and end of
the internet are barely worthy of being informed at
all. They have learned what seemed to work for them in
an age long past. That age is over. Demographics is
ineluctible. We know who inherits the planet. There is
a reason the riaa has to sue little girls and
grandmothers, you know. That is because the FBI told
them outright YOU CAN NOT STOP IT and we are not gonna
spend any resources chasing what the Microsoft PhD's
who have studied the issue tell us is IMPOSSIBLE.
You're welcome to inform yourself in advance of events
or you may let them overtake you. If you listen
carefully you can hear how much i care. It's not me;
not any one or ten or a thousand anybodies- it's that
time of the season on the planet. It's not a matter of
opinion and nobody can do anything about it. I will
state unequivocally that any other view is delusional.
But not my job to treat that. I just watch and say
what i see.
Tea in the Bay, my friend. Some ppl since the day have
refused to pay RoYaLtIeS...king george's day is like
sooo pre internet...lol
Anyway, the application i mentioned, DarkNet, will be
all over soon enuff. It only takes 3 days for anyone
in the world who wants it to have it. After all- more
than half the daily traffic on the internet is pure
file sharing. Did you know who really runs the net?
