Art didn't have to create Mach but because he did I am happy to help
him make it better with some cash. Its hardly the same as Microsoft
charging huge amounts for a disk they sell millions of copies of.

I download some music and I buy some music, Mach is an album worth
having and a band worth supporting AND I can afford it.

It is true that software in itself is just some ones and zeros,
copying it does not steal it as such. But if it was produced to be
sold in order to finance its creation in the first place and if you
would have bought it had it been flesh and bones and could not be
copied then you have to ask yourself why you are copying it, is it to
assert your freedom or to be cheap/selfish and to allow others to
finance it.
