actually, graham, i have to ask myself why should
anybody pay ME a royalty EVER once they have purchased
my product or seen my performance.
when i sell something it no longer belongs to me.
if i tell something it is no longer a secret.
nothing can change that. no edicts from vaticans, no
old man in widows weeds with a wooden mallet.
there is no justification whatsoever for any one group
to have a goon squad with guns to stop other ppl from
doing whatever they want to with their own property.
there can be no such a thing as a 'right' to violate
my rights.
study the history of copyright. it was created for
censorship. it NEVER was about paying creators.
A monopoly is a license to prevent other ppl from
doing what some special group wants them not to do.
I'm sorry, man, but institutional thuggery of this
kind is getting the Darwin Award.
Ppl know better. At least everybody i know but a few i
suddenly realise exist here knows better.
and so- hey- sorry i shook your bliss, guys. it really
doesn't matter to me a bit. i'm just not gonna be
investing in magazine publishers or music labels.
Thing is, i don't have to do any mental gymnastics
with myself to get into a comfort zone to download an
mp3. I just do it.
Nor do i feel any obligation to do ad hominem on a
poor fellow who just doesn't know wtf is going on
around him.
every graham stabler i know agrees with me, deep
down...lol
and this isn't CNC!
so done!
