Like Art I have the source code for EMC and EMC2 - it is NORMAL practice
when using open source code to supply fixes back to the project that
provided the code, in fact the license normally requires it ;)
If it needs fixing, then it will get fixed in the source.

While Art has loosened up access to Mach3 it is still a closed source
code base and that is another commercial risk :(
My MAIN code development uses fully open source code. It does not matter
if someone disappears from the picture, and people who use the code
commercially commit time and effort to push bug fixes back into the main
code base!

I have a nice USB card with button and encoder interface which looks
good for the pendent. Now I need to sort out code to use it. It will be
interesting to see which version is easiest to write :)
