[CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Re: Major encoder trouble, need advice.

Hi guys,
Just a quick update. I tried with a 26C32 instead of the SN75115 but just as
expected it made no difference what so ever. I also tried removing the
SN75115's internal termination from the circuit and using the recomended
resistor-capacitor termination but still no go...

Tech support at USDigital is very responsive but it feels we are not
communicating. To me it's a done deal, root cause aside, it works with two
different encoders on two motors and with two drives but never when there's
an E7P in the mix.

I also got a quote from Renco and the R35i fits my motor and is apparently
available with 625 lines although the website doesn't list it. The price for
the R35i was OK, a bit higher than the USDigital encoders but hopefully
worth it. What's not good is that they want $175 to ship three encoders to
Sweden....ouch....
