You are correct about USPS versus the other shipping companies. They are
usually lower in cost and just as reliable, in some cases more reliable. The
companies that refuse to ship via USPS usually have contracts with one or more
of the other shipping companies and they receive "points" on just about
every shipment which can apply to shipping charges and other products. This is
not always the case but often it is. Well, I do hope the new encoders take
care of your problem and from all you have told us, I really think it will do
just that. I have heard some other stories about the U.S. Digital encoders.
The IC decoders they sell work well, or at least the have for me. I have
never used their encoders myself as they aren't really designed for industrial
applications.

Well, good luck and as always the discussion has brought out more
information that can be applied by not only you but the rest of us.
