You miss the point. Of course they have the right to determine their own
business. Just as I have an equal right to decide to spend any money with
them, whether they like it or not. All I said it that they have a *stupid*
policy with their catalog which cannot be denied.

If I am willing to pay good money, in excess of their cost, for a catalog
then there is NO sound business reason not to sell me one, in light of the
fact that they print catalogs anyway and all the pages are freely available
online. You can draw all the analogies you like, but the fact remains that
are *stupid* not to sell them.
