Right MAXNC is limited and that's also one thing you will notice in the
advertising they have is the lack of mentioning that fact. It's a while
since a visited their web site they may have updated it by now.

Well I have not had a need for an edge finder and to be honest I don't
think for the kind of work I do that I need it, or at least I'm dumb,
fat, and happy without it... About 50% of what I do is panels for
prototypes and circuit board drilling. Then I just located 0,0 and set
the Z axis and let it rip... Sometimes I'm convinced I'd be just as well
off with a PCB drilling system like Dan described in his Nuts and Volts
Magazine article...
