They can be found. I'm not sure in long run it's much better. Nobody puts
bearings into knurled seats. They shoot for the right fit. I wind up
fitting stuff to these tolerances every week. Working to tenths-thou isn't
easy but it's possible even with older equipment, and it's quite
satisfying. One method is to set compound angle to arcsin .1, then each
thou grad is .0001" on radius. Or you can set it to arcsin .05 and work
directly to dia.
