Thanks for the kind words.
My "philosophy" had been to make no-frills drives where every penny
was spent on performance (which you get every time the drive is on)
versus circuitry that only comes into play once in a drive's lifetime
(a wiring error or a serial-killer motor). In the latter case there
are transistors, comparators, etc. that never ever get used in most
drives. Still, they are along for the ride, cost money and do nothing
unless something goes very, very wrong.
I still feel that way, so the G201 will still continue to be built;
all new ones will add to the 40,000 plus out there right now.
The "IP" version will maybe keep a few from coming back worse for the
wear.
