Interesting, as I'd take the tack of adding $15 per axis to my quote and
furnishing the protected drivers. Just before I retired, I was involved in a
similar situation (not using Gecko products) where my vendor made a simple
mistake that fried a $100 component (The project was costing us somewhere in
the high five figures). That mistake cost our vendor an extra week's time,
additional trips between Arizona (his base) and Ohio which would have more
than covered the $15.00 per axis that he'd have gladly spent had the option
been available to him.

The point - Mariss, I think that your IP type boards have a place and should
sell if marketed properly.


|P.S. to my last: I would opt for the G201/210 "AS-IS", rather than pay an
|additional $15 for "same thing plus protection". I would simply be VERY
|careful in the future, and SAVE the $$$!!!
