Absolutely, Positively!
I want some.
If for no other reason than Protection #6...
(Motor connects/disconnects while under power.)
With most every machine design, at least one or more motors travel
around with the carriage or whatever, leaving the connecting motor
cable to flex here and flex there.
Eventually that flexing will create an open in the wire and then Poof!
Pop! and Smoke-em like you own-um.
Worse still the intermittent open may not exist unless the machine is
in exactly x,y,z position, then again... Poof!
And I would like to be able to use the shut-down signal for emergency
stop of all motors.
I would be concerned about possible premature or accidental shut-
downs. But I do have above normal faith in Mariss's designs.
Oh... Only idiots would unplug an active motor.
Like I never would.
