Josh,

How are you opening your INI file to change it? What I do is, navigate to
the /usr/local/emc directory using X, click once on the emc.ini file, which
will open it in an editor window, and make my changes. Click "file" then
"save" will do it, just like windows. One thing to watch out for is, if you
are using emc.run to start emc then make sure you edit emc.ini, if using
generic.run, edit generic.ini, etc. In other words make sure you are editing
the right ini file.
