Yeah, I meant 1" circumference, not diameter, it made the calculations
easier. Otherwise toss PI in there as well. Good catch.

Anyway, had the poster asked the right question - "how to I measure wire in
a wire-cutter" - he'd have gotten a decent answer a week ago, rather than
getting distracted by shiny mice - oooh laser!

I guess you could print stripes on one of the rollers, and use an optical
mouse to track that that. But why bother?
