Mark, it is often convenient for us to blame something simple, like the
ownership of guns, for the madness that occasionally seeps into our lives,
even though our logical selves understand that a knife, a gun, or a bomb
don't do harm until insanity unleashes it.

I don't believe that any of us have ill feelings toward you. Your postings
have real information and integrity, and what you said in jest was taken
that way. It has little connection to the sadness that overwhelms those of
us affected by a deranged mind creating tragedy.
