I find that the CNC is, for me, as much an aid to quality as to accuracy.
The CNC gets the part right every time.

I do lots of extremely complicated geometry one off parts to low accuracy -
I'm a model builder.

CNC seems to be a cycle of increasing perfection.

Hand work is a cycle of "different mistake each time".

This morning I'm churning out uprights for a model RR model of a refinery
loading platform. This is just a router job, but it's a complicated cut with
4 non round piercings, a slot, a complex outer shape, and a couple other irregular
holes that leave thin struts. I'd never try to make one in one piece by hand,
I'd foul it up somewhere in all those cuts. But the CNC is churning them out.

Ooops, gotta go load more stock ;c)
