Double sided tape will work. You just have to be careful what feed and
speed rates to use.
To fast a feed rate and the plastic might shift. Too fast a speed rate and
the plastic may melt rather than cut.

All the cutting on the Roland MDX 15 machines are done using double sided
tape.
