Wow, that is slow!!!! You'd want to plan your sequence of operations
very carefully if you needed multiple tools on a large part. Like
making a hole pattern, you might want to spot all the holes on one
end, then change tools and drill, rather than "rapiding" (and I'm
using that term loosely) from one end of the part to the other with
the same tool.

Just to see what 25 ipm is like I set my 300ipm machine down to 25 to
get a feel for it. Frustratingly slow!!!


Just a thought, that 25ipm isn't the max cutting rate is it? With a
faster rate for rapids? I thought someone posted a rapid rate of
125ipm for the old BOSS stepper machines a while back.
