Tim,
Is this a "size 42 modified" drive?
Thank you in advance.

doing something also worthwhile, instead of/while watching... :-)
P.P.S. I've had some private posts which come from people who feel
the list has become non-useful to the NON Gecko/EMC/Insert whatever
here people. In other words, the people for whom 24IPM would be
WONDERFUL!
Others complain (NOT privately) that only a few people post. I hope
we can realise that BOTH ends of the spectrum are valid; and ALSO
notice that there is a bit of unintended "oppression" of these go-
slow newbies...
When we focus so much on how fast, and how wonderful, and "I could be
happy with .00025" (on a 'designed for'.001 machine!) They become
afraid to speak up, since they feel that they aren't even
doing "REAL" CNC...
Note: I've used Tims' quotes here because they are fresh, but others
also may be unintentionally keeping these people out of the
conversation. Not everyone can find, afford, or even wants, a
Bridgeport.
While I also hear from people who think we spend too much time
on "small stuff", these 'commercially oriented' people ARE more
likely to speak up, from what I've seen.
The list description specifically states "home shop" AND "not aimed
at commercial users".
I think that maybe the reason we have so many silent members, is that
they fear public ridicule, again , since they are content to go
24IPM, and NOT get bored!
This is also why I just posted that in july of 1983, 24IPM was as
fast as this bridgeport went! (So no one needs to feel bad about slow)
Thank you for listening. In the interest of ALL the list,
