Hey, gang--
While I'm happy to contribute when I have something to offer, I also
tend to not keep on the very top of the list. So if someone has
already answered a question, I don't tend to toss in a 'me too'.
I'm also a newbie, so I'm still more in learn mode than offer mode. I
greatly appreciate the people who have time to contribute so much to
the list. Unfortunately, I'm somewhat time-limited, so I can't
contribute nearly as much as I'd like.
(Shoot--I've note even been in my shop for a month!)
on MANY lists over the years. It's just a fact of life that some
people like to "listen" more than they like to "talk". You might want
to think of some of us silent ones as the guys in a party who stand in
the circle, sipping their drink, and quietly nodding their heads
occasionally at the conversation.
Personally, I've not asked any questions yet, because I've not decided
how much work I'm going to do *to* my mill & lathe vs. doing work
*with* them.
