compatible with Linux. It might take me as much as 4 hours or more if I have
to track down updated driver software to make less well supported hardware
work (Not all of this time requires someone sitting in front of the machine
since once the Linux install is begun, it runs unattended for quite a while).
From this point on it's a matter of getting the software configured correctly
to run you machine. This can take an hour or two for a stepper system and
longer (!) for a servo system.
