Only way to know for sure is to measure the current draw. A far less
accurate method is to feel the motor and see how hot it is getting. If
it is staying relatively cool then you are not exceeding the continuous
very much. If it is getting quite hot then you are probably pushing it
too hard and will likely be replacing the motor after a little while.
