I think BobCad does wire but not sure of the price.

The other thing that may be a problem and I am not really sure is
that I would think that most CAM programs will output gcode showing
the movement required for the x,y of the EDM. However that then
requires a control program that can translate this and also respond
to feedback to control the spart gap and stop arcs etc. I would
think that would be built into most commercial EDM's but not the
average step and direction control program like TurboCNC or Mach1.

TurboCNC comes with the source so you could do the gcode as
contouring and then add code to TCNC to handle the wire specific
stuff??

It is nice to see people putting the EDM in the CCED.
